Norwich v Fulham – Boxing Day – Football Factory
Keeleys will be shut Boxing Day morning, so the game v Fulham will be at the Football Factory, 6 West 33rd (between 5th and Broadway).
Let’s hope the players lay off the Christmas pud and deliver 3 points. Kick off is 10am NY time.
See you there!
Sunderland v Norwich – Saturday 21st December 10 am (Goodbye Katie)
Tomorrow’s game v Sunderland is live at George Keeley’s. The wonderful Lindsay will swing open the doors at 9.45am.
It’s also going to be a sad morning as we say goodbye to our Katie, who is moving back to England for work. We will miss her riding her bike up and down the bar every time we score. Wherever she is in the world, she will always be a NY Canary!
So come along and let’s send her off properly, and hopefully we can celebrate 3 points to boot!
See you tomorrow!
James
Norwich v Swansea Sunday 15th 8.30 am
After a great road win at West Brom, we have Swansea next- visiting Carrow Road in a week where they have 3 games in just 6 days. This should be an advantage for us and hopefully we can carry some confidence from this past weekend into the game and bag another 3 points.
Keeley’s won’t be open for this super early game, so join us at the Football Factory, 6 west 33rd street ( between 5th and Broadway) for beer and breakfast.
Where: The Football Factory
When: Sunday, 15th December at 8.30 am
West Bromich Albion v Norwich City – Saturday Dec 7th
After a dismal evening of playing park the bus at Anfield we now turn our attention to West Brom. Last time we played the Baggies we gave them an absolute thumping at Carrow Rd to guarantee another year of Premier League football. Our record at the Hawthawns in recent times has been pretty good, winning two of our three visits there since returning to the top flight. However, getting a result on Saturday depends on how we set ourselves up and if recent away games are to be considered I would be surprised if we could manage anything more than a draw.
Taking of draws, it’s obtaining a single point from games that has West Brom ahead of us in the table, they have won just 3 games from their first 14, drawing 6 times. The Baggies have also won just 1 of their last 7 games. If there ever was a team that we could play on the road and get at with a positive attacking attitude, it’s this lot. So fingers crossed the Hoot changes his tune and puts out a team and shape intent on playing attacking football on Saturday (like during the first half against Palace). Three points would take us above West Brom and place us as high as 13th.
We will be at our home George Keeley’s (address and map up there ^ to the right) for this 10am kick-off, so join us for some banter, beers and Baggie bashing (one can hope).
Liverpool v Norwich Wed Dec 4th – 3pm
This Wednesday’s game at Anfield will be on LIVE at George Keeley’s here in NYC. If you haven’t scheduled a Doctors appointment to get out of work yet, get on it!
Hopefully Luis Suarez can be contained this time around and won’t eat Ryan Bennett or Sebastian Bassong.
I’ll see you at Keeley’s on Wednesday – WOOOOOOOT!
Norwich v Crystal Pulis @ FF.
Tomorrow’s game will now be LIVE at the Football Factory, 6 West 33rd between 5th and Broadway ( below Legends). Join us there for kick off at 10am!!

Ed Balls Visits NY – Shows Love for the NY Canaries on Morning Joe
Norwich fan and Shadow Chancellor, Ed Balls, has been in NY this week. Our man, Matthew McGregor, gave Ed one of our awesome t-shirts, which Ed then presented to Joe Scarborough on MSNBC show ‘Morning Joe’ this am (pics and video below). Top man Ed!

NY Canaries Podcast November 7th 2013
Well here it is, the first ever ( maybe the last ever) NY Canaries Podcast. DISCLAIMER: We recorded this in the pub ahead of the West Ham game and as people came in the background got pretty darn noisy. As such, we had to nuke about 20 mins or so. We promise to do better next time, if indeed there is a next time. Let us know what you think, we’ve got thick skin!
Norwich v West Ham Saturday 9th Nov – NOON
The less said about last week the better. It’s been a hard week to be a City fan, what with my inbox filling up with general mockery and various pictures such as The Seven Dwarfs, Brad Pitt in Seven, The Magnificent Seven, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Seven Samurai, Seven Year Itch…
Anyhoo, let’s turn our attention to this weekend’s game against Wet Spam. There is no result other than a convincing win that will do here, so let’s get behind the team and hope we get back on track and put the last few weeks way behind us.
Join us for the game LIVE here in NY at George Keeley’s at 12 noon. A map to Keeley’s can be found up there ^ to the >
See you Saturday. Up the City!
