Norwich v Villa Saturday 21st Sept

September 17, 2013

This Saturday’s early game at home to Villa is LIVE at the Football Factory at 7.30 am. Join us there for beer and breakfast ( there’s a mean fry up on offer if you need persuading to get up early). FF is also home to the NY Villains, so the banter should be fun!

We will be at the Football Factory for a few more weeks, due to early games and then the International break. We will be back at Keeley’s in October from the 19th when the 3 pm ( 10 am for us) kick-offs resume.

Back to this week, we should be fired up for this one after last weekend’s dour performance. Not that I mind losing to that new look Spurs team, they were terrific. Nor do I mind the Hoots tactics of getting behind the ball away from home BUT that said, once it goes awry and we go a goal down, there has to be more commitment and a change in plan. Sitting back just invites a more confident team with a lead to do more damage. We looked lost at times.

Anyway, at home it’s a different story, and Villa will provide a chance to get back on track. They started the season well but lost at home last week to a relatively poor Newcastle side. Anything but 3 points would be a major disappointment.

Lambert's golden boy is a real handful, let's hope Bassong and Turner can keep him quiet this weekend
