Hopefully we can make Woy bang his head some more.

Burnley Game Is NOT On In NY. BOOOOOO

January 4, 2012

Sorry everyone, no TV game this week.  We’ll all just have to huddle around our computers and enjoy Chris Goreham on Radio Norfolk.

Norwich @ West Brom will be at the Football Factory on Saturday 14th January 10am.  See you there!

Like the old days eh? Audio only with Mr. Goreham.

Santa Is A City Fan

December 22, 2011

A couple of weeks back, our very own Matt Smith dressed up for Santa Con here in NYC, giving the jovial and bearded giver-of-presents a yellow and green make-over.

Well done Matt!

Santa is a NY Canary. Who knew!

Norwich v Spurs LIVE

December 22, 2011

Well, two leads late-on in two away games, both squandered– but we’d have taken a point at kick-off time in both the Everton and Wolves games would we not?  Of course we would have!  Two more very good points earned on the road.   We now have as many points away from home as we’d gained during our entire Premier League campaign last time around.  GET IN!  Who would have thought we would be 7th on Christmas Day? Not I!

Next Tuesday (27th) City are back home for the visit of Spurs and so are the NY Canaries.   The game is on LIVE at our homestead, George Keeley, so come and join us at 2.30pm for that one. You can find a map and the addy by clicking up there to the right, where it says ‘Find Us’.

Justin will be at Carrow Rd for the Spurs game and has promised to display our flag wherever he goes.  If I don’t see him on the telly with it, he’s in big trouble!

I’ll see you at Keeley’s.

How good is this American at stopping headers?

Norwich City v Newcastle United LIVE

December 8, 2011

Well last week we got a beating, as expected.  Man City have scored 48 goals in 14 games so we shouldn’t really be bothered about the result.  There was a lot of hoo-har over Balotelli’s goal. Was it disrespectful? Not in the slightest, no different to using his head as far as I’m concerned. Anyway…

On to the next! That’s Newcastle United at home and you can join the NY Canaries for that one at The Football Factory, which is 6 West 33rd Street (between 5th and Broadway). We will be back at our home, George Keeley for the Everton game.

Football Factory is home to the NY Newcastle Supporters club and there are quite a lot of them, so come and help us drown them out with ‘On The Ball City’.

Game starts at 10am, I’ll be there at 9.30 to enjoy the pre-match fry-up.

See you there!

Norfolk hasn't see this much hair since the Bee Gees tribute band played the Theatre Royal. (Colloccini is currently rated 50/50 to play)

Norwich City @ Man City November 3rd

November 28, 2011

QPR’s chief of spin, Colin Wanker, said we ‘mugged’ him on Saturday- but anyone who doesn’t have blue and white gunk in their eyes saw a very different match.   More shots on target usually equals more goals, and last weekend was no different.  Sure, they had a decent spell before we put Holt and Wessi on, but we deserved to win and could have scored more.  A good 3 points in the bag was important, especially as a trip to Eastlands, The Etihad the Money Dome of Manchester is up next.

Will Wessi start, can the back four contain Silva and Nasri? Will Balotelli be wearing a snood and matching gloves?  Will money rain from the sky at half-time? So many questions, so join us this coming Saturday at George Keeley where the game is on LIVE at 10am.

See you there!!!

Will Balotelli be able to put on his bib this week?

Norwich City V QPR – Venue Change

November 22, 2011

Fox Soccer are delaying our game by 4 hours this weekend, so we will re-locate to the Football Factory, which can be found 6 West 33rd Street. That’s between 5th and Broadway. LIVE 10am Kick-Off, see you there!

No Joey this week, he's collected 5 cards this season and will serve his ban this weekend.

Saturday @ Villa

November 1, 2011

Well, occasionally there are games that are ‘web only’ in America, and Villa away is one of them.  That means we cannot meet at our splendiferous home, George Keeley, this Saturday. BUT, wait….The game will be shown  LIVE at Football Factory (who paid the craaaazy extra amount of dollars required to get every game available).

So we’ll meet there for 11am (change due to daylight savings in UK) at Football Factory (at Legends)  on 33rd between 5th and Broadway. Deets here:

See you there New York Canaries!

Odds at the bookies of Holty starting AND sporting a Movember Mo? Chopra will know.

Manchester United LIVE

September 27, 2011

Oh the memories:  Huckerby to Ashton, left foot cross, Mckenzie, left foot volley, 2-0.  Suck it Man U!

Can we repeat that fantastic result, but at Old Trafford this time? Fingers crossed.  Why not cross them at George Keeley’s while joining the NY Canaries for the game?

10am Kick-Off.  See you there!
